EATcetera is a sparkling downtown Galveston eatery that specializes in daily homemade soups, gourmet sandwiches, paninis, garden-fresh salads, and tantalizing desserts.
The EATcetera menu includes many vegan and vegetarian options. Marinated-seared tofu is available to substitute for other proteins on the menu. All sandwiches, paninis, and tartines can be ordered on gluten-free bread.
Sandwiches include Thai beef and Vegan Thai with carrots, diakon radish, cucumber, sriracha mayonnaise and cilantro; mesquite smoked turkey with chipolte cream; Norwegian smoked salmon with cured onions, caper cream, green peppers, mixed greens; and grilled zucchini and Swiss, olive tapenade, sundried tomoatoes, and mixed greens. All are served with either a small salad or kettle chips.
Paninis include hickory smoked turkey, bacon & white cheddar with arugula mayonnaise; smoked chicken sundried tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms, fontina cheese, fresh arugula; Cuban-style ham, salami, Swiss cheese, pickles, dijon mustard; and, grilled eggplant, smoked mozzarella, grape tomatoes, fresh basil. All are served with either a small salad or kettle chips.
Tartines options are Seasoned Shrimp, Smoked Salmon, Artichoke & Goat Cheese. All are served with either a small salad or kettle chips.
Salads include Black Angus beef or marinated-seared tofu with Thai peanut-chili dressing; smoked Norwegian salmon with cucumbers, asparagus, and capers; Greek feta cheese salad; and, Soba noodle salad with cucumbers, daikon radish, snap peas, carrots, and cilantro.
New shrimp dishes being introduced August 23, 2019, are: Shrimp Salad with cucumbers and chickpeas on a bed of mixed greens, garnished with mandarin orange, Chow Mein noodles and tossed in ginger dressing. Seasoned Shrimp Tartine with Siracha mayonnaise, mixed greens served on multi-grain bread and garnished with peanuts. Seasoned Shrimp Tacos with mango & black bean pico, finished with a touch of crema, and served with a ginger mayo cabbage slaw. Vegan and gluten free options available.
Desserts vary but often include vegan & gluten-free options.
The EATcetera venue is available for Special Events and can seat up to 25 inside for EATcetera Seasonal Dinners, Rehearsal Dinners, Bridal Showers, Graduation Parties, etc. There is additional sidewalk cafe seating. Optionally, the cafe seating area can be tented for a reception or dance floor. Chef Lena develops customized multi-course or buffet dinner menus for all Special Events.
