Great meetings deserve great attendance, and the professionals at the Galveston Island CVB can help you achieve attendance goals through several promotional methods. Our team can suggest creative, effective ways to generate excitement for your event.
When you book your meeting through the Galveston Island CVB, we will provide you with printed promotional materials highlighting the Island’s many fun, exciting activities and attractions. Your attendees will look forward to your event with eager anticipation. (The CVB reserves the right to limit quantities based on group size and existing inventory.)
There is virtually no limit to the publicity a newsworthy event can generate. We’ve assembled a media list for your use in distributing pre- and post-meeting news if coverage is your goal. To help you get started, our CVB team will submit one news release on your behalf to area media to generate awareness about your event.
Would you like a local representative to welcome your delegates as you kick off your meeting? With advance notification, we’re happy to make the arrangements, or to request a personalized letter from the Mayor’s office upon arrival. We can even obtain a proclamation from the Mayor to be read during your opening session, but we do need advance notice.
The team at the Galveston Island CVB understands that registration for large meetings can be challenging. Personnel to assist with the process for events may be provided based on certain criteria.
For groups that exceed 90 rooms per night, we are happy to provide name badges and inserts available at registration.
Depending upon the size of your group, the Galveston Island CVB can provide you with a staffed on-site Visitor Information booth, offering collateral, maps, directions and suggested activities for personal time.
Complimentary welcome bags are offered to all groups booked through the Galveston Island CVB.
